Gurugaman Plus UBER

Gurugram Metropolitan City Bus Limited(GMCBL)has been incorporated under the provisions of the companies Act 2013 with the objective to set-up, manage, operate and maintain a city bus transport system in Gurugram Metropolitan Area. As a part of its new initiatives GMCBL has now entered into partnership with Uber to enable bus seats e-booking in four AC buses on two routes on pilot basis. This is the first such initiative in the country. This initiative will digitize public transport services for commuter convenience in the Millennium City.

The following are the features of this new initiative :-

1. Pre-allotted seats - no street-hail
2. Fewer stops - faster commute
3. Safer commute - seat for all, no standing passengers
4. App-tracked ride - no long waiting at bus stops
5. Digital code confirmation on Uber App
6. No conductor

The two routes where this pilot project will operate are from Badshahpur bus stand to DLF Cyber Park (Shankar Chowk) via Huda City Centre metro station, and BPTP Astaire Garden (Sector 70) to DLF Cyber Park (Shankar Chowk) via Golf Course Road. Buses will run on each route from 7 am till noon, and 3 pm to 8 pm daily. Pricing for the tickets begins at INR 7 per kilometer per pax.
